My professional history is linked to the sea. My early day inspirations and experiences were due to my qualification as amateur shipmaster at the merchant navy, regional deck sailor, conductor of boats for official use, and motonauta approved at CIR. I have theoretical and practical knowledge in marine issues, and on matters related to the operation of boats and engines. I am currently a field research assistant supporting studies in rivers and lakes of northern Rio de Janeiro state and in the Amazon. I coordinate activities of environmental monitoring in coastal aquatic ecosystems.
