I have a Technical Degree in Environmental Control from the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio de Janeiro (2006), two degrees in Biological Sciences (on Teaching: 2011; and a B.Sc. in Ecology, 2012), M.Sc. (2014) and Ph.D. (2019) in Ecology, all at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). During my doctorate I had a research stay at the Istituto di Ricerca sulle Acque - IRSA/CNR - Italy. I worked as a Technician on Forestry at the State Institute for the Environment (INEA, Rio de Janeiro; 2009-2011), mainly monitoring projects of restoration of degraded areas and on endorsement of legal reserves. I have also worked as a Science teacher for basic schools and as a Biology teacher in preparatory courses for high school students, respectively at the municipality of Queimados (Rio de Janeiro, 2013) and at Fundação CECIERJ (2015-2017). I am currently a public servant, a Laboratory Technician at the Limnology Lab at UFRJ, Rio. I am mainly interested in Ecology, particularly on Ecosystem Ecology, working mainly on limnology, structure and dynamics of zooplanctonic community and on the effects of environmental change on the functional diversity and ecosystem processes in aquatic environments.
